This is a stretching class that focuses on the primary muscle groups that surround your upper back, hips, and hamstrings. Ideal for all levels this class uses breathing exercises and longer holds to improve flexibility and alignment.
Pulsating drum beats drive this high energy class that blends aerobic dance, powerful drills and drumsticks in a fun way that gets your heart pumping.
Foundations of Fitness:
A class for everyone. This class allows you to work out at your own pace. It focuses on proper form, balance, and how to properly use body machines.
High intensity interval training consists of 12 minute warm-up, 25 minutes of intervals, 12 minutes of muscle work and abs ending with a 5 minute cool down. Cardio intensive!
Interval class with high intensity cardio and vascular work effort followed by a specific period of rest. Modifications for higher impact movement make this class accessible to most participants.
Improve functional strength with this core conditioning class that focuses on your “Powerhouse”. Abdominals upper and lower back, hips and glutes are strengthened to promote torso stability to your bodies center or “core”. Weights are optional for additional intensity.
Muscle conditioning is designed to incorporate a combination of both low impact aerobics and variety of strength training exercises geared toward building up primary muscle groups and improve over-all endurance for a total body workout.
Pound is a full body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming using Ripstixs. This workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements as well as plyometrics in a challenging 45 minutes all while listening to your favorite music.
Simple choreography combined with powerful Plyometric drills will keep your heart pumping and feet moving during this fun, high energy class. Intervals of low and high intensity exercise utilizing the step gives this class the extra edge needed to maximize your caloric output. Ten minutes of core work and stretching round out this amazing workout.
Interval strength training proven to give you the results you want. The strategy of this format is to “give it your all” for 20 seconds followed by ten seconds of recovery repeated over a 4 minute cycle. Upper and lower body conditioning followed by abs/core work will be sure to satisfy your every muscle group and leave you feeling strong.
Total Body Conditioning:
Improve overall cardiovascular function building strength and endurance in this fun training format.
Gentle flowing yoga class available to all levels. Class focus is breathing and movement. Yoga pose sequences are designed to build strength, flexibility, and balance. Modifications are offered for all levels and each class ends with a relaxing savasana.
A moving flow that invigorates the mind & body while resting attention calmly on the breath, creating an awakened, refreshed state. Moving with ease through simple & challenging moments alike, you’ll feel confident & happily capable. A combination of natural movement, Thai Chi and Shiatsu.
Blend of yoga, Pilates, and core conditioning exercises. This class is meant to challenge you as well as offer you ample time for rest, recovery, and meditation. Light weights may be used in this perfect combination of mind, body, and spirit.
Fit2Skip is a combination class of skipping rope with intervals of traditional sports conditioning drills. It will increase your cardiovascular endurance while strengthening your legs, back and arms and improve core strength and balance. You will learn basic rope swings and proper skipping techniques to skip safely and effectively.
Learn how to increase strength and improve your balance using weights, noodles, and more you. Great for all ages. Only available during pool season.
